The evening of day 6 we went to sleep by 6PM because we had to be up at midnight to begin our hike up to the top. It is a 6 hour climb from Barafu camp and we wanted to be at the top by sunrise, however, a blizzard began and only 5 of us were able to make it to the very top. We had to wear 3 layers of clothing as the temperatures were below zero.
